The 5th Annual Loop Around Chestermere Lake will take place on Sunday September 15th 2013 with a 1/2 Marathon Distance (21K) (8 am start) and11.2 km and 5km runs (8:30 start).
Sign up will open up early spring, 2013 and YES with the exception of the 50k, this race will continue to be FREE of charge thanks to some amazing sponsorship. Please continue to support these local businesses as they have continued to support our running community.
The Medicine Hat College Rattler Run began in 1980. The goal for the run is to encourage physical activity. In 2012, the organizers launched the "I Run for ME" campaign. "I Run for ME" supports the importance of participants running for the best cause - themselves! Physical activity is a key component to one’s personal health and well-being. The MHC Rattler Run kicks off the spring and encourages everyone to – get active!

This is the first of two HALF MARATHONS this year from MEC! Start near the Calgary Canoe club, then run counter clockwise around Calgary's largest body of water through the Weaselhead Natural Area.

This race starts in Shouldice park running east towwards the Crowchild Bridge following the beautiful Bow River Pathway system. If you decide to run the full 15k route, you will cross the Crowchild Bridge and turn west before hitting your turn around point.

This race starts in newly renamed Sue Higgins Park at the east end of Southland Drive, at Deerfoot Trail. The well marked race route will quickly cross the Bow River, and continue north through Carburn Park, following the beautiful Bow River Pathway system.
