An event for all ages and abilities in support of the MS Society. This is an inexpensive CHIP TIMED 5k/10k run along the paved trails in south Red Deer. A flat course, it's the perfect start to spring training!
Now in its fourth year, Outrun the Stigma is the largest student initiated mental health awareness run in Western Canada. Started by two student clubs and now a not-for-profit organization expanding to different campuses and cities in Canada, Outrun the Stigma is an annual 10km/5km run/walk. Come out to the University of Calgary campus on Sunday, October 16th and join our Calgary Chapter in our journey to end the stigma surrounding mental health.

2nd annual Fun Run in Silverado! We are pleased to have both a 1 km and a 5 km run – showcasing our beautiful pathway system! Bring the kids, we have a live DJ/bounce house/FREE face painting, and much more! Both races are welcome to runners and walkers, no matter what pace or skill level – all funds raised will go towards building a skating rink in Silverado!
Run for Little Ones is a non-profit organization that raises money for the Neuro-critical Care Unit at the Alberta Children's Hospital. Neuro-critical Care (NCC) is a rapidly emerging subspecialty of medicine and research at the forefront of bringing effective new therapies to patients with life-threatening brain diseases. Run for little ones offers both a 1km run for little ones in addition to a 5km run for adults. to raise money for this important cause.

The Calgary Marathon Society invites you to be a part of Calgary's only Halloween race happening at dusk! This is a family-friendly AND pet-friendly event taking place the Saturday before Halloween come rain or shine (or snow!)
The Dash of Doom proudly supports the charity Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society (AARCS). AARCS raises funds to improve the lives of animals by rescuing and providing sanctuary to abandoned, surrendered or abused animals. Meet some animals ready for adoption and AARCS ambassadors on race day.
The Dino Dash was conceived in 2004 by two University of Calgary Students as a way to increase funding for the University of Calgary's Dinos cross-country and track & field teams. $50,000 has been contributed to help provide scholarships, competition opportunities and uniforms. It is a great success, back to school community event and it continues to grow under the Calgary Marathon Society. Go Dinos!
