Marathon Training Program
|
The marathon group meets on fall and winter Tuesday evenings at 7:00 P.M. at the Olympic Oval by the long jump pit. The group meets on spring and summer Tuesday evenings at various times and locations. The group also meets every second Saturday morning all year at 8:00 A.M. at the Eau Claire Y.M.C.A.
The program is designed for individuals who have a reasonable running base and want to run their very first marathon, or runners who are looking to post a new personal best. It is based upon certain fundamental principles proven to produce successful results for many marathon runners over the last several years.
