Description The Wild Roses inaugural women’s race is a challenging half marathon, 10km run and walk which will take place on the south side of Edmonton. All over the world a trend towards creating races for women is on the rise. The Wild Roses inaugural race is designed to celebrate the empowerment of women. Women focused races are like a healthy version of a women’s night out, mother’s day, and mother daughter bonding all rolled into one. The route for the event will use the scenic trail system crossing Whitemud Creek and the North Saskatchewan river while bringing out the best in Edmonton’s park system and creating a challenging route for participants.
