44th Annual Calgary Women’s Run – Results Posted

The 44th Calgary Women’s Run is in the books. 

More than 100 runners took part in this annual event on Sunday August 21st, well organized by Race Directors Joanne and Celeste.

The race features two distances – 5 km and 10 km, running along the beautiful Bow River; families can also participate in the mother/daughter category.

As in several recent years, the 10 km race was commanded by Maria Zambrano (36:40), followed by Stephanie Krieger (40:11) , and Jessica Bonet (42:25). 

Robyn Astridge won the 5 km category (19:47), as Janice Patterson (22:11) and Philippa Hocking (23:35) also worked their way up to the podium.

Congratulations to all runners, and heartfelt thanks to the RDs and volunteers for another successful event.
