2021 CRR Confederation Park XC Relay

This 3-person relay race has a long history and is a great event for spectators and runners of all ages. The 4 km figure-eight course is on groomed grass, with a shallow creek crossing. Each team member runs the same route. Bring a change of shoes & socks. Relay starts at noon. Allow time for limited parking at Rosemont Community Assn Parking Lot, across the road at Confederation Park Parking Lot or further afield.

- $8 Calgary Roadrunner members
- $6 Full-time students
- Free Kids (12 and under)

Due to COVID there will be NO Kids’ 1K race this year.
Register on-line before race day. Race day on-site registration and payment will NOT be accepted.
No refunds or updates, please review your information before completing your registration.
Registration closes Saturday, October 16th, 2021, 5:00 pm.
Registration requires Team Name, Team Category (OPEN, MASTERS, YOUTH or SCHOOL/CLUB) & expected runner race time (used to organize staged start).
There will be a staged start. After registration is closed each runner will be assigned a starting wave. You will receive an email one day prior to the race with your individual start wave and scheduled start time.
This year’s event number of teams is limited to 60 teams, and the race format will be 30 second staggered starts, three teams at a time. Relay runners may run together as a cohort or individually at best pace. Maintain 2 meters space between non-cohort runners/members of the public at all times. Spectators will not be allowed within 10 meters of Start/Finish area. Disperse away from Start/Finish Area when your run is complete to ensure we maintain our 200 person limit as per COVID-19 Guidelines.
All Relay Runners must wear masks before and after the race but not during their run. Volunteers are required to wear masks at all times.
There will be no Awards Ceremony or Potluck Soup Social following the event. Rosemont Hall will NOT BE OPEN. Families/Cohorts are encouraged to disperse into their own space to picnic, relax and recover in beautiful Confederation Park after the event!
