CRR 2022-2023 cross-country Grand Prix results (LINK)

You are invited  to the 2022-2023 CRR cross-country Grand Prix season wrap-up, also known as the Awards Night potluck, which will be held at the Parkland Community Association (505 Parkvalley Rd SE, Calgary, AB T2J 6M4) on Saturday March 18th, starting at 6 p.m.

Please join us in celebrating another successful year of running snowy, icy, wet, muddy, and dusty cross-country routes of Calgary and Okotoks parks. It absolutely takes a lot of work and dedication of all volunteers involved to ensure a long and difficult race season runs without a major glitch, and we would like to thank this great team of organizers and volunteers for their enormous effort.

Also, we would like to congratulate the overall series champions, age category podium finishers, Iron Persons, 100 consecutive races milestone athletes, Golden Shoe Award recipients, and all who run their hardest in one, some, or all events of the season.

So, here are some points for this Saturday:

• The event opens at 6 p.m. This is a potluck event, please bring some entry, or salad, or dessert to share.
• Entry fee is $10/adult and $5/child/student. This is just to cover the hall rental. If you feel the entry fee is the only deterrent, still come join us (just bring something for the dinner)
• The potluck dinner starts at 6:30, CRR will provide plates, cutlery, cups, but  you are encouraged to bring your past pottery awards bowls and mugs to reduce waste.
• There will be a cash bar with wines/beer, and also soft and hot drinks (coffee/tea) included with your entry. If you look younger than 18, be ready to present an ID when at the cash bar – consider this as a compliment!
