** Okotoks Big Rock Running club made a decision to not host the Okotoks cross-country event (part of the CRR Grand Prix series) on November 7 2020, citing the rapidly deteriorating situation with COVID cases in the town. We have tentatively moved the event’s date to march 13th 2021 (not confirmed).
We are working to substitute this cancelled/postponed event with another race from the series. Stay tuned.
Registration will be online. There will be no on-site registration this year. The registration link will be posted here when registration opens.
Join us for the CRR 31st Annual Okotoks Cross Country Running Race, hosted by the Big Rock Runners with support from the Calgary Roadrunners!
This course starts near the Okotoks Recreation Centre (99 Okotoks Drive), and takes racers through scenic areas of Okotoks.
Events and Course Description:
Children’s 1K | 4K Fun Run | 8K Men’s and Women’s Race
Both 4K and 8K courses follow undulating trails through scenic areas in Okotoks. Though not required to enjoy the run, spiked runners or pull-on cleats will help improve footing in case of icy or snowy conditions.
